DEAR CHURCH FAMILY,

It is time for us to embark on our 2023 Stewardship Campaign. The theme for this campaign is Fulfill the Vision, Embrace the Future. Around 20 years ago, God began working in the hearts of FBC church members, giving them a desire for a new sanctuary. It became obvious that a larger modern building would be needed to achieve the potential that God has for First Baptist. For years members have prayed for the day to come when such a building would be constructed. Now, the time has come for this vision to become reality.

This building is an important step in the mission God has entrusted to us to reach this community. We believe that God will bring about this work through your generosity. With your help, we hope to raise the funds which will allow us to move forward with this project.

Your involvement greatly impacts our success. As a part of this campaign, every household is asked to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial commitment over and above regular ongoing tithes and offerings. The commitment you make is to be fulfilled over the next three years.

Our campaign begins the first Sunday in March and runs throughout the whole month. I want to encourage you to attend every service. Each sermon will show from God’s word how his people have been used throughout history to impact the world through generous giving. It will culminate with Celebration Sunday on Easter, where the first offerings will be received.

These are exciting days. Let us prayerfully seek God’s will. With His help, we will Embrace the Future and Fulfill the Vision!

PURPOSE

The purpose of Fulfill the Vision, Embrace the Future campaign is to realize a vision that began in the hearts of members many years ago. The vision was a church that would be a light on the hill to an ever-changing city dynamic. This worship center will be multigenerational-friendly and provide a welcoming environment to help us connect with many different age groups. The project will also include new classrooms, expanded parking, and welcome center. From the unique café and baptistry to the outside courtyard and common areas, this facility of excellence will facility conversation and fellowship in a warm and inviting environment.

The desire for this project will not only be to provide a new, state-of-the-art worship center, but it will be a place where the Gospel will be proclaimed, the Lord will be worshipped, and where lives will be changed forever. It will provide us the necessary space to Fulfill the Vision and Embrace the Future!
